This “Fresh Start” weekend is designed for all-levels of students, particularly beginners to the Bowspring method. The Intensive will help to recharge and revitalize you, returning you back to “factory settings” of mind-body health. It will be a great way to start off the first month of the New Year.
Each day’s activities include breathing practices, meditation, Bowspring practices, therapeutics and bodywork sessions, philosophy lectures, nature walks, ice baths, and 2 healthy vegetarian meals and snacks. Also, John’s 5000-volume library is open to peruse and enjoy.
Small, private trainings at the Manor with John and Desi is a very effective way to deep dive into the Bowspring method for students of all levels, and to gift oneself a few days of healing and profound self-transformation!

The Monroe Manor was custom built in the year 2000 on sacred land of an old native American village. The house is positioned on the banks of an ancient river, now a ridge of granite and quartz crystal. There are natural springs on the property, and the water for the Manor is sparkling clean, pumped up through 300 feet of crystal-laden Earth.
The Manor is a spacious 7-bedroom home that revitalizes all who stay here. It has a fully finished walk-out level buried into the Earth, featuring its own kitchen, laundry room, and entertainment center with surround sound. The main level of the Manor has a Great Room with 20′ windows looking out to the dense green forest sloping down to the Apalachee River, a commercial kitchen, and a parlor for reading or playing chess. Our spacious Bowspring studio has natural light, full-length mirrors and various props, accommodating up to 20 Bowspringers for classes.
The Manor property is 27 acres of mostly woods, in which we forage for medicinal plants and mushrooms. There are also a couple of acres of vibrant food forest, fruit trees, and gardens of beautiful flowers surrounding the Manor. Local wildlife is abundant including owls, rabbits, turkeys, fox, deer, coyotes, turtles, frogs, salamanders, butterflies, bats, and snakes!
When the WiFi is turned off at the night for sleeping, there is no other WiFi signals, affording everyone a healthy, quiet deep sleep.
The Manor is located in the woods just outside of Bethlehem, GA. Fly into Atlanta airport (ATL), and drive east for about 75-minutes. We can help coordinate transportation from and to the airport, which is about $100 one way for taxi / Uber. Sharing rides or rental cars will significantly lower airport transport cost.
Bedrooms will be assigned first-come, first-serve, although all beds and bathrooms are quite comfortable.
