Semi-Private Intensive with John Friend in Woodstock, NY
Over the weekend of February 21-23, 2025, John Friend will offer an 11-hour semi-private Bowspring Intensive for students with prior experience in the Bowspring practice, including students who have taken at least a 10-hour introductory or orientation workshops with John in the past. Although this Intensive will be “Next Level”, the Bowspring poses and exercises will still be primarily Level 1, focusing on the basics.
The Intensive will be held at Matagiri, a serene spiritual event center in the wooded mountains 15 minutes outside Woodstock, NY.

The property compromises 49 acres up a wooded mountain outside of Woodstock, NY.
The studio space is a Straw Bale ecological design coming from the natural building movement which, reflecting the values of living more consciously with the Earth.
