Bacalar, Mexico — May 8-15, 2026 — Sacred Immersion with John Friend – curated by Studio Boundreau

Awaken with Bowspring, led by master teacher John Friend, and explore a revolutionary body paradigm and living algorithm. Mornings glide into the dawn with sunrise paddle-boarding and sun-gazing on the Lagoon of 7 Colors, followed by cenote immersions – (swimming, snorkeling, and diving in underground river) — and Janzu Water Rebirth.

Ceremony and sacred experiences unfold throughout the retreat: receive the Rose Portal Ceremony to open the heart, partake in cacao and sacred song, and enter Temezcal openings – (Mesoamerican sweat lodge) led by a Chief Sun Dancer. The arrival of the Marakame of the Wixárika tribe (shamans, healers) brings ancestral wisdom into the field, guiding prayers to Grandfather Fire, all while being enveloped by stromatolites—some of the oldest living life forms on Earth. (rare, ancient, living rock-like structures formed by microorganisms, often called “living fossils).
